Barn Finds & More
First, let's look at the . The vintage hudson touring car is parked at the far end of a huge old barn and has been there for at least a decade.
Neglected and Abused Barn Find Cars Someone sprayed graffic on the Hudson. Over time
it has had some black tar dropped on it, it has had dressers, beds, trunks and fishing tackle and more piled around it.
The current owners inherited, in-a-sense, this 1941 Hudson and the clutter around it. But before they had
time to clean it up, we went ahead and took photos and went live online with the photos.
It is a Barn Find Now But . . .
In short, the Hudson is a Barn Find right now, but when the owner clears behind it and can start and move the car,
the price will likely go even higher. He's pretty sure the old Hudson will start up when he gets to it.
Also in the owner's barn
Also in the Hudson owner's barn is a 1964 Chrysler 300 K in original condition, seats upholstered a few years back. slideshow more details So when I say Barn Find Atmosphere from now on, I'm describing clutter-buried family-owned vintage or classic
vehicles hidden away for decades.
Barn Finds are vintage cars that have been neglected and/or have become more lifesize memoribilia than
a vintage car in need of restorabtion. See another example 1965 Thunderbird Landau.
Debut of 1941 Hudson unplanned
This 1941 Hudson Touring Car is making its debue on the Web not because the owners approached us, but because Larry and
I approached them.
We asked the owners two questions: Do you want to sell that old car? What is your asking price?
They did and they wanted pretty much top dollar for the Hudson. Average/Good Condition price, which is what
they are asking, would be accurate if the car was clean, drivable, and well-kept. So keep an eye on the old
1941 Hudson, the owner is going to dig it out and start it up, or so he says. When he does, we'll make a video for you
to watch.
