| Engine Run |
1968 F-100 Styleside starts and runs. Still used occasionally to put the boat in the water for
fishing. It has a solid long bed.
The underbody is solid but there is rust on the body and has place near each wheel base that is rusted out. Script is
missing. It is restorable.
Would run smoother with a complete tune up and the brakes need to be bled. Does not have the original F100 engine.
This truck is located near Wheatland, MO (65779). Rated #5 For more information call 417-993-5944 or email us.
Ford F-100 Series Facts and History
As the automotive industry progressed, government regulations required all newly manufactured vehicles
to have side marker lights or at least reflectors. In 1968 these new lights were added to the Ford F-100 on the hood.
The 1968 Ford F-100 was not only durable but simple in design. These 1968 F-100s are rare and expensive.
However, because they are easier to restore many restorations shops prefer them. After the 1968 models, this version
was discontinued.
